Welcome to Overflowing Heart Books. For a birthday many years ago, a friend made me a heart out of beans and rice (think back to the bean art you did in school as a kid), and on the back she wrote that I had the biggest heart of anyone she knew. Overflowing Heart Books was born.

I’m a 30-something. I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, learn how to be a better cook, lust over babies and wedding dresses (neither of which I have had), and watch my favorite tv shows on DVD. Big dogs, the color yellow, Celine Dion, and cross stitching are my jam. I majored in English with a minor in creative writing in college and I have a master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in College Student Personnel to boot. Enjoy the reviews!
